We are getting ready to leave for a little trip, well it could be a 5-6 hour drive depending on how miss priss does and how many times I will have to nurse her...should be interesting! She has proven to be a screamer and somewhat fussy for sure. I wasn't sure the first couple of weeks, but she definitely is! She doesn't like being put down...awake or asleep!!! That is probably the main reason for the lack of blogging. But I do have one thing that is the best and has helped a ton! It is a Moby Wrap, which is basically this long piece of fabric that you wrap around you in different ways to carry the baby. I have been doing the hug hold and it leaves your hands free and the baby snug and secure. I have a few pics from the website so you can see the top one is how you have it wrapped before you put the baby in and the bottom is what it looks like when she is in. If you are interested, go to the website www.mobywrap.com and check it out...go to instructions and see all the different ways you can do it....it seems a little complicated, but after a few times and watching the demo video online, I think I've got this one down! The only thing is that she is so cozy in there that she doesn't ever want to be put down to sleep for naps! (even though she is now!) I wear it with her in it to work and she sleeps the whole time and I can type at the computer while wearing it. OK, enough of that...but it is pretty much all I have been doing these days!!Gotta go get ready and finish up a few things...Happy 4th!
